Clear Briefings
Every assignment comes with written instructions and a thorough briefing. You'll know exactly what's expected of you before you arrive on site.

Our management team conducts routine site visits and welfare checks to give feedback and guidance. We support our guards in the field and make sure you're never left on your own without backup.

You're never alone on the job – our 24/7 control room is always just a call away if you need assistance or have an issue on site. We believe in looking after our people so they can look after our clients.
What We Expect From You
Valid SIA Licence
You must hold a current SIA licence appropriate for the role (Security Guard, Door Supervisor, CCTV Operator, or K9 Handler). We verify all licences before deployment.
Vetting and Screening
All candidates must pass our BS 7858-compliant screening process. This includes providing a 5-year work history, credible references, right-to-work documentation, and a clean criminal record check.
Reliability and Professionalism
We expect you to be punctual, follow the assignment instructions, maintain a professional appearance, and communicate clearly. Treat clients, the public, and colleagues with respect at all times — you represent Nexum Security on every job.
Willingness to Learn
Each site and client may have unique requirements. Being open to site-specific training, following procedures, and accepting feedback will help you succeed and grow in your role with us.
Current Opportunities
We are currently recruiting for the following positions in London and the South East of England
Static Security Officers
Various Sites – London & South East • Full-Time / Part-Time
Manned guarding positions at construction sites, office buildings, warehouses, and retail centers. Day and night shifts available. (SIA Security Guard or Door Supervisor licence required.)
Mobile Patrol Officers
London and M25 Area • Full-Time / Part-Time
Conduct mobile security patrols and alarm response across multiple client sites. A valid UK driving licence is required. Key holding and alarm response experience is preferred. (SIA licence required.)
K9 Security Dog Handlers
Various Sites – UK Wide • Full-Time / Part-Time
Work as part of a dog-and-handler team at construction, energy, and industrial sites. Must have your own trained security dog and relevant handling experience. (SIA licence required; professional dog handling certification expected.)
Door Supervisors
London and Essex • Full-Time / Part-Time
Provide door supervision at pubs, clubs, event venues, and other licensed premises. Weekend and evening shifts are common. (SIA Door Supervisor licence essential.)
